Competitive Brazil Project

The Competitive Brazil Project involved the strategic planning of the transport infrastructure and cargo logistics for the five Brazilian Macro Regions, identifying the priority infrastructure projects to increase the competitiveness of production in each of them. The study dealt with the detailed diagnosis of the existing and projected logistics infrastructure (railways, highways, waterways, ports, airports, etc.) as well as the mapping of the production chain and the current and projected Origin-Destination Matrix of the main Productive Chains of each region, assessing existing and future logistics bottlenecks and prioritizing logistic projects proposed for deployment capable of solving existing problems and bringing greater economic competitiveness.

The Project was an initiative of the National Confederation of Industries (CNI) along with the Federations of Industries of the several states, counting on the support of important local agents from each region.
